Workshop Description: You will find this is a great opportunity to take your painting to the next level by learning more about plein air painting.   Even if you prefer studio painting, give this a chance, it will delightfully surprise, challenge, and improve your observation skills and color choices.  We will work with a fairly limited pallete.

Students gather 9 a.m. Friday at a designated location for a brief overview of the twodays, discussion on what "plein air" painting is all about, procedures and additional handouts.

We will then we move to an outdoor spot, and Joni Finnegan will demo a small "plein air" painting. Then each student proceeds with painting individual views. Finnegan will provide individualized instructions to each student as needed. At the end of each day we will again gather as a group for follow up discussion.
